If you can imagine yourself zipping over the trees and hilltops, then you may want to consider taking a trip to Canton, just out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and participate in Wired’s Zipline Challenge Course. Touted as being one of the longest, highest, and fastest zipline course in Texas, Wired boasts over 3,500 feet of cable on their challenge course.
The view is positively breathtaking, with forested and hilly areas as far as the eyes can see. At every launch tower, you will find a highly trained staff member ready to help you along. Safety comes first for Wired. The lines are made of the highest grade airplane cable and are inspected daily.

I love this place! I go here about three times a year in the spring and summer and I never have anything but the best time. The staff is really helpful, they even work with the younger people in order to give them the confidence to use the lines. The only reason I can’t give them 5 stars is because they are about an hour form downtown Dallas. That’s a bit on the far side.
