The Austin Trail of Lights Dec. 8th – 22th, 2013

The Austin Trail of Lights is a 1.25 mile display in Zilker Park that consists of over 50 displays. It run Dec. 8th – 22th, 2013.  Admission is free.

Popular with families since the 1960’s the magical production is sponsored by local volunteers and businesses including HEB & Seton Healthcare.

For two magical weeks in December, over 50 stunning custom displays (many updated for 2013) light up the night, bringing Austinites together to celebrate the season. Come make memories with the ones you love and uniquely Austin eats, fun for the kiddos, and performers including musicians, dancers, and carolers.

5K Run onDec. 8th – 22th, 2013

Annual Trail of Lights 5K Fun Run on Saturday December 7, 2013. It’s a great way to start the legendary Austin holiday tradition and help to kick off a brilliant season. Run alongside Santa, elves and maybe a few reindeer – just slow down enough to enjoy the lights.

How much is parking at Zilker Park?

Parking is $15 per car

How do I purchase parking at Zilker Park?

Parking at Zilker Park for the Trail of Lights must be purchased online, in advance. Parking must be selected for a specific night and is only valid for the date purchased.

Where is parking at Zilker Park for the Trail of Lights?

Parking will be on the grassy field along Barton Springs Road adjacent to the Zilker Tree. Specific routes and entry points for this parking area will be emailed to parking pass ticket holders one week prior to event.

Will I be able to purchase parking tickets for Zilker Park at the event?

No. Tickets to park at Zilker Park must be purchased online, in advance. NO PARKING TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ZILKER PARK.

If I do not purchase parking at Zilker Park, what are my other transportation options?

What are the ZiP Pass benefits?

Zilker Park (ZiP) Passes provide ticket holders access to the Trail via one of two dedicated ZiP entry gates starting at 6:15–45 minutes before it opens to the public—and access to the ZiP Lounge. Learn more and purchase here.

What is in the ZiP Lounge?

The ZiP Lounge is located adjacent to the Main stage. It includes heaters, dedicated seating and private restrooms.

How do I purchase ZiP Passes?

ZiP tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the event. Tickets must be purchased for a specific night and are only valid for the night of purchase.

How long are ZiP Passes good for?

ZiP passes are only valid for the night purchased.

Are tickets and passes refundable?

Tickets and passes are not refundable. In the event of rain, tickets may be exchanged for alternate dates pending availability.
