The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, which is a beautiful, natural oasis located in South Austin, is dedicated to showcasing the artistic works of 20th century sculptor Charles Umlauf. Every single season displays Mister Umaluf’s art in a unique and different way, giving you a different perspective on each of the sculptures.

The Umlauf Sculpture Garden is a wonderful place for visitors of any age to get acquainted with sculptures, as well as with museums. This is especially true if you are bored with traditional museums. In the lavish outside garden, you will be able to see the art from every angle in an environment that really shows them off. The beautiful bronze sculptures have been meticulously coated with a special wax, making this the largest fully “touchable” outdoor sculpture collection in Texas.

Tour the sculpture garden with with a tour, or grab a tour book and walk through the gardens with your friends and family.

The sculpture gardens have activities for everyone. During the visit, you can assist your children in finding pieces of the Sculpture Safari Scavenger Hunt. Also, you can learn how to make your very own sculptures at a sculpting workshop or watch several different artists sketch pictures throughout the garden. Sit down and savor glorious, expansive views while you listen to the birds and waterfalls, or simply enjoy a single sculpture.
