Buoyant and fast, a jet ski ride is an easy way to catch a serious thrill! Jet skis and waverunners are the perfect Lake Michigan water toy for you even if you’ve never been on one. Jet skis can be ridden alone, but are spacious enough to accommodate a couple of your friends.

Located on North Avenue Beach, Jet Ski Chicago offers jet ski and waverunner rentals for rides on Lake Michigan. You just reserve in advance online or by phone, and show up for some fun zipping around the waters of the lake, getting a view of North Avenue Beach from the water.

Jet Ski Chicago is open Monday – Friday until 6pm, starting in May. Jet ski and waverunner rentals are priced per half hour, and per hour, with an small additional charge per rider.  Lifejackets for all come with the price.

In addition to the recommended advance registration, renters will need an ID and a credit card for deposit. Also, trying to utilize limited parking in the area is probably not worth your time and public transportation comes highly recommended. Tours are available if you prefer to enjoy the water with someone else at the helm.
