The Ledge at Skydeck Chicago is a thrilling view of the city from inside an enclosed glass, clear-bottomed extension of the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) located in the commercial downtown Chicago Loop. Suspended 1,353 feet over the city, you can literally walk out on top of it and see up to 50 miles and 3 states away.

In addition to The Ledge, Skydeck Chicago offers several one-of-a-kind ways to experience the 110-story building, the 9th tallest skyscraper in the world, through interactive exhibits. Among the activities are: learning about the architectural history of the tower, watching simulations of aerial views of important city landmarks, and getting photographed with the giant number “103” sculpture there.

Admission is under $20 and can be purchased onsite or online, or as included in the Chicago City Pass. Admission packages that include personal audio/video tours and trolley access are available at an additional cost.

The Skydeck is available for weddings and special events, and discounted group pricing and free bus parking is available with a reservation.  Visitor’s tips and nearby date night restaurant suggestions can be found on the website. This attraction is wheelchair and stroller-accessible.
