The Conservatory and Sunken Gardens at Garfield Park have been in use for almost 100 years with the purpose of providing a space for park-goers to experience the wonder of what their flora have to offer. The tropical Garfield Park Conservatory is an awe-inspiring indoor experience, and the Sunken Gardens provide a place to stroll through classical European-style garden beds and foot paths.

The conservatory is open every day of the week, from the morning through the afternoon, except on Sunday when it opens at 1:00pm.  The Sunken Gardens have the same hours, except during the summer, when it stays open until 9:00pm.  You can bring a leashed pet into the Sunken Gardens to accompany you on your walk.

There are all sorts of special programs and events going on, so check the calendar. February will feature the Gnome Away From Home program, showcasing gnomes from all over the community scattered throughout the gardens. Admission to the conservatory and gardens is only $1.00.
