The Ball & Biscuit is located on the first floor of a residential building on Massachusetts Avenue, and has the sophisticated and secretive ambiance of a speakeasy, that is located on the first floor of a condominium building on Massachusetts Avenue. Every item on the drink menu is house crafted and intentionally combined into the perfect mixture of fine spirits and complimentary flavors. People love the Fall Sazerac, which is one of the many whiskey cocktails on the menu. Not a whiskey person? There are beautiful drinks in the vodka, rum, gin, and ‘orphans’ categories, like the Clement Sidecar (Clement VSOP, Creole Shrub, simple syrup, and fresh lemon) and the Amelia (Penn 1681 vodka, St. Germaine, blackberry puree, lemon, and mint).

The “Biscuit,” as some people refer to it, also has some beers on draught and wine as well, and a carefully curated food menu offering sausage plates from the local Goose the Market, and Cajun/Creole-inspired dishes like Chicken and Sausage Stew, the Papa Roux Trio of Po Boys, and others. The Ball & Biscuit is open every day from 4:00pm to late.
