Yats Cajun Creole offers a very casual dining experience with a menu that changes on a daily basis, and at an almost unheard of affordable price. This well-loved and locally owned restaurant is probably the only place in town that you can order your meal “half and half” style, meaning that for only a buck more you can try two entrees instead of one.  Past menu items have included Chili Cheese Etouffee, Drunken Chicken, and Yat’s vegetarian Succotash. Etouffees and jambalayas of some kind are almost always available. If you need something sweet to take the edge off, Yats offers a few desserts each day, including their specialty, peanut butter cream pie.

Yats Cajun Creole is open for lunch and dinner every day, but closes early on Sunday. There are two Indianapolis locations.
