For great dining and great wines with an incredible view, you can’t beat Bella on the Riverm, an independently operated restaurant featuring Southern European and Mediterranean cuisine.
Unlike many other restuaraunts, Bella’s dining room is small and intimate. Their and wine bar is considered to be one the most special wine bars on the River Walk. Going to Bella’s is like walking into a small Spanish bistro or Italian grotto, with an authentic cozy and comfortable atmosphere, right off the river.
Reservations are recommended, and dining is every night. They regularly feature live musical acts, and can be rented reserved for small (under 50 guests) functions.

My wife and I go here about twice a month. Without a doubt, this is the best place in San Antonio to go eat out. It’s on the river, so the view is always beautiful, and the menu is just amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy and the wine is amazing. Highly recommend!
