Despite being a chain that has restaurants in locations ranging from different parts of Texas all the way to New York, Texas de Brazil happens to be a favorite restaurant for those in San Antonio, and for good reason. The prices are just right here, the food is amazing, the experience is upscale and sophisticated, and the staff is great. If you’re a person with a big appetite that loves to eat meat, check out this awesome Brazilian steakhouse the next time you need an excuse to eat (or spend) a lot.

The Prices

For adults, the price is $44.99, and if you just want the salad bar, it’s $24.99. Kids ages three through five eat for $5, and six through 12 eat for half price. Two and under are free. The price doesn’t include any alcohol, desserts, extra items, taxes, or tips. While the fact that you’ll end up spending at least $60 a person for drinks and dessert might sound expensive, the price is perfect considering you can eat as much as you’d like, and that the service and atmosphere are wonderful.

All You Can Eat

Like with all Brazilian-style steakhouses, you can eat as much as you’d like here. As long as your dining card is turned to green, the waitstaff will continue serving you food. Once you flip over to red, they’ll hold off until you’re ready again. The salad bar has between 50 and 60 items depending upon what’s seasonal, and you’ll get plenty of meat and side item options, too.

Succulent Meat Selections

This restaurant is a meat lovers dream come true. All night long, you’ll be served as much as you can handle of filet mignon, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, braised beef ribs, lamb chops, pork ribs, leg of lamb, Brazilian sausage, flank steak, pork loin, chicken sausage, and more. For someone who likes fine cuts of meat, this is the restaurant for you.

Sides and Salad

The sides and salad bar are almost (almost) as good as the meat options here. Included in the the price, you’ll receive garlic mashed potatoes, sweet fried plantains, Brazilian cheese bread, and specialty sauces. You’ll also be able to take multiple trips to the salad bar, where you’ll find cheeses, artisan breads, veggies, soups, sushi, salamis, asparagus, and more. Heck, even vegetarians may like this steakhouse!

Desserts and Wine

Your meal wouldn’t be complete if not paired with a glass of wine and finished with a delicious dessert. There are over 90 bottles of wine to choose from, and the restaurant staff will be more than happy to help you find a wine that’s to your liking. For dessert, try the Brazilian cheesecake, the chocolate mousse cake, the key lime pie, or the pecan pie! All the dessert options are good, so you might have some difficulty in choosing.

This is a great restaurant to go to if you’re celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or want to impress a business client. Parking is valet, and you’ll need to wear dressy attire. Of course, don’t forget to make a reservation as well.
