From the land of the rising sun comes the power of the Yamato Drummers. Founded by Masa Ogawa, Yamato travels the world, sharing the beat of their Wadaiko drums with the world. It’s a new expression of the centuries of history and culture of Asuka Village, Masa’s hometown in Japan. The sound of the drums, made of ancient trees and tanned animal skins, pass on the energy and life of Masa’s troop to the audience.
