Mission Trails Regional Park is sprawling and beautiful, and conveniently located near everything else in San Diego. There is plenty of open space for hiking, biking, horse-back riding and exploring. The park offers many extra educational events like weekly guided nature walks, monthly star parties, and concerts in the park.
Mission Trails Regional Park also has plenty of educational activities going on that are specific to kids, like art classes and weekday “Nature Adventures.” These classes, which explore a different theme each week, include topics like “Bats: Spooky or Special?” and “Kumeyaay Life Before 1769.”
The park is open every day, except some holidays. Check the calendar for event times and pricing.
