Once a year, at the Texas State Fair, a beautiful arrangement of Chinese art comes together. Pandas and Flamingos, Pagodas and Dragons, everything that is magical about the Chinese Culture comes to Dallas for the Chinese Lantern Festival.

During the day, the festival is a collection of authentic Chinese art from hundreds of artists, everything from sculptures and paintings to even a 110 yard long Dragon made from thousands of porcelain dishes.

By night, the Festival is a breathtaking display of lights and fire, as the night sky is lit up with thousands of lanterns, fireworks, and other marvels. Set in the State Fair PPark, it is truly a wondrous sight to behold.

Since this Festival is part of the State Fair, admission to the fair is needed for entry. However, there are family and group rates available at the website.
