Enjoy a Well-Deserved Break

It easy to lose your way in life… running and tasking and tending to the latest crisis du jour.  Well we found a place that gets your mind off all that stuff.  Share a laugh with friends (old or new).  Have a glass of wine.  And explore your creative side.  It just doesn’t get any better than that.

You Can Do This

It doesn’t take years of training and endless hours of practice to be able to create good art. Your inner artist just needs a little nurturing.  All it takes is a helpful instructor, and the desire to have fun!  Natalie, the creator of Art by the Glass Studio says “Every week people come in who describe themselves as artistically challenged, and those same people leave with pieces they are really proud of.  And they look so relaxed. It’s really hard to stay stressed when you are doing something like this.” Art by the Glass Studio has a variety of art projects designed to help you find your bliss.

Not Just Another Paint & Sip

Technically Art by the Glass Studio belongs to a category of businesses called “Paint & Sip”.  As a group, these businesses have really taken off in recent years, and franchises are opening all across the country.  We’ve written about several of them, and have several paintings hanging on our own walls that were painted under the influence of hilarity.

But something unique about Art by the Glass Studio in Round Rock is that it’s not a franchise.  I guess technically it’s not even a Paint & Sip.  It’s more like an Art & Sip, because they have a multitude of different art sessions.Below is a partial list, but really you need to check for yourself.  Because even while we were writing down the current classes, Natalie, the owner, was rattling off new class ideas.  And her biggest inspiration for new classes is her guests, so if you have a good idea she wants to do it. “Since we’re not a franchise, we just do what we want.”, Natalie told us.  How cool is that?  Here’s the current list:

  • Wine bottle painting
  • Teen night
  • Pinterest Project Party
  • Cupcake decorating w/ Bellissimo Bakery
  • Photography Basics w/ Sarah J Studio
  • Hair bow design
  • Monthly Family Day
  • Open Paint Night

Book Early – They Sell Out

There has never been a better time for you to get started on your creative adventure. But the most popular classes frequently sell out.  So book early.  Especially if you are planning a party.

Fly Solo, Bring a Friend, or Have a Party!

Bring a friend and make it a fun date. Bring a group and make it a great outing. Bring a few more and reserve the entire space for a private party. But whatever you do, take time to Wine & Unwind.
