This week, the works of many artists submitted to the Archway Gallery for consideration for their 4th annual exhibition will be on display. This year the exhibition is curated by Houston Center for Contemporary Craft executive director Julie Farr, who must look over each submission and decide which ones stay and which ones go.
The art show serves as both an exhibition of artistic talent and as a fundraiser for the nonprofit ARTreach. ARTreach works with at-risk children, the elderly and the disabled by way of the specialized art programs.
