This Saturday and Sunday, the Houston Reliant Center becomes a paradise of Home Improvement.
The 17th annual Texas Home & Garden Show will be taking over most of the exhibition hall for the entire weekend event, with well over 300 exhibits, and with thousands of products and services on display and for sale.
Home improvement experts will also be available to guide guests in any remodeling project they may have. Also available will be the 5th annual Remolders Council Charity Garage Sale, featuring home goods donated by local suppliers. In the market for appliances, hardware, granite tile or even doors? Buy them here and support local charity projects at the same time — all proceeds go to benefit Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services, Habitat for Humanity and SIRE Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
Once guests get their fill of home improvement workshops, home decoration advice, tips for kitchens and baths, environmentally-friendly living and landscape demonstrations, and more, they can swing through the neighboring exhibition hall to select some art — perfect for those newly-sheetrocked walls.
The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission costs $10 for adults and $9 for seniors, and children 14 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the website.
