If you want to enjoy in one place all that the outdoors of South Florida has to offer, visit Crandon Park.  You can pack up your golf clubs or tennis rackets and enjoy playing in the outdoor facilities.  Or you can spend your time exploring – taking a tour of Bear Cut Preserve, walking the “mangrove boardwalk,” or learning about the area’s dense plant and animal life from the Visitor’s Center.  The beach at Crandon Park is a great place to run around in the sand and swim, or rent a kayak and paddle out into the beautiful waters.

Crandon Park is open every day of the week, from morning until the sun sets.  There is lots of parking available.  Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit, and a picnic or extra cash for the concession stands.
