Haunted Attractions with multiples attractions in the same venue seems to be the trend for haunted houses, and while Screamworld has multiple attractions, they are all back-to-back, giving visitors an extended scary experience.

The actors at Screamworld are professionally trained, going through an audition process. They are everywhere, from roaming around the parking lot to roaming through the haunted house itself. Each attraction is themed differently. The Maze of Maniacs is an outside chain maze. The Haunted Hotel is a traditional haunted house where visitors go from themed scene to themed scene. The Edge of Darkness is patterned after the old haunted houses of the 1970’s. Jake’s Slaughterhouse is a gore-fest haunted house. And the Zombie Graveyard an outdoor attraction with fog-filled areas where the actors hide.

Screamworld takes about thirty minutes to go through, assuming the lines aren’t very long. The lines can get exceedingly during peak nights, but visitors can purchase a VIP pass that will allow them to bypass most of the line.

While there isn’t much to do at Screamworld as there is at other haunted houses, Screamworld does have the uniqueness of being one of the longest houses in Houston.
